I am Richard Arnold. Growing up in Australia I spent much time exploring National Parks in the area, and taking photographs. I also collected thousands of photos of the American desert, especially the photos of David Muench, one of the great pioneers of landscape photography. In later years I would meet up with David, a memorable time for me. I moved to the US in the early 1980's working as a broadcaster, and becoming Australia's longest serving foreign correspondent. Photography has been a life-long love, especially the California desert, along with hiking and seeking out the desert's unique offerings......
